All farm activities are managed and supervised
by Mr John Lewis and Mrs Maxine Lewis, who are both regularly on
farm. Both the Senior Farm Manager and the Breeder Unit Manager
live on farm and share call out and alarm monitoring duties.
An extensive computer monitoring system provides
immediate alarms if there are any unacceptable occurrences
relating to water bores or pumps, water levels in any storage or
delivery systems, low feed levels in any silos or feeders,
automatic feed line failures, power failures or out of
specification occurrences – both overall or in any individual
shed or section, monitoring failures and many other parameters.
Back up power generation is available for short
or long term use providing full electrical security in the event
of a mains power outage.
